SAN JOSE--Jose "Cuate" Celaya (29-3-0) will be billed as the top main event card holder and will be challenged by Arturo Rodriguez (12-11-4), and Celaya and Rodriguez will face off on Thursday night September 13 at HP Pavilion in the American Metal Fight Night Series in the Tank. Celaya holds the current professional record with 29 wins, three loses, and no knock draws and has 15 knock outs.
Celaya is from Salinas and this will be his fifth fight at HP Pavilion this being his first as the Main Event holder.
This fight is expected to be a good bout compared to some other American Metal and Fight Night in the Tank bouts that we've seen. Rodriguez the challenger, has experience and can keep his head into the fight and is noted for tiring out opponents he could keep Celaya in the ring and they could make this a great match with all the hitting, dancing and competitive drive that makes a match.
As for as Celaya is concerned he has all the tools and experience to put this one away. Rodriguez could have his hands full unless he can tire out Celaya early. Celaya has the pro record in wins and can back it up by putting this match away early.
We'll have complete coverage after the fight on Thursday night for this month's American Metal and Fight Night in the Tank series.
Michael Wang and Ralph Gora cover the Fight Night in the Tank series and will have results from the main event on Thursday night at HP Pavilion.
