1. The Cardinal had their heads handed to them by Arizona State 41-17. The Sun Devils (2-0, 1-0) are considered an upper tier school. The Cardinal (1-1, 1-0) couldn't put the brakes on the Devils defense as the Cardinal got within a long shouting distance at 27-17 and the Sun Devils pulled away for good with two unanswered touchdowns. The Cardinal head coach Jim Harbaugh talked about improved defense and yes injuries coming in too. There is no doubt their defense will need shoring up after this one.

The defense has needed shoring up for the past 10 years. Stanford is not the miracle team. Let them have their growing pains as they learn how not to loose. Harbaugh's impact will be seen more in the next couple of years. Not this year.

2. The Bears (2-0, 1-0) crushed the Pac 10's Washington State 66-3. Michelle in this game at Pullman was it a matter of Reilly throwing all day (six passes, 14 attempts) or Jahvid Best (200 yards rushing, three touchdowns) or the Cougars just had a bad day at the office?

Who cares what it was a matter of? Matter of the fact is that Cal had a great Saturday, and is 2-0 in the Pac 10. They don't care how they win, as long as they do win. Maybe it was that the tree sitters are getting cut out of the trees Berkeley. I don't know, just win baby!!

3. Michelle looking ahead to Cal's visit to Maryland next Saturday do you expect that game to be a different tune than this past weekend's game in Pullman? Also the Cardinal host TCU do you like Stanford's chances at home on this one?

Cal can beat Maryland. The ACC is starting to look like the Big Ten, and that isn’t good. TCU will beat Stanford. TCU may be a non-BCS conference team, but they have proven for years that they can play with the best of them.

Final Thoughts:

1. Hope all of you are watching East Carolina slowly kicking every butt in their way. Are they in line for a BCS bowl birth?

2. There are a whole lot of people who are sick because Brady is out for the year. Right Jeremy Kahn.

3. Game of the week USC at Ohio State. This is Terrell Pryor's coming out party. Let's see if it he is Prom King or that guy who is drunk and vomiting underneath the table.
