SAN JOSE--Lets look at the best drivers in this Cart series and we nominate three of them who are competing in the San Jose Grand Prix, and we forecast two of the four is our favorite to win the race on Sunday.

The best driver is Sebastien Bourdais, who was born in France, but now resides in Tampa, Florida, who has had the most success in the Cart series, and this year he started in eight races and won four events.

Last year Bourdais lead 63 of the 93 laps in the Grand Prix in San Jose the first one to score the win in this series.

Bourdais is the two time defending champ of the Champ Car World Series and Bourdais has put together the best start to a career in series history with 20-50 starts and has finished on the podium 29 of those.

Bourdais has won the Bridgestone Passion for excellence Award in each of his three seasons he's only been around since 2003 and he drove his car to a class win in the 2006 Le Mans that was the best of the long races that paid of great value of consistency but remember Bourdais he's the best there is.

Now looking at the best American in this series and that's A.J. Almendinger.

Almendinger originally from Los Gatos who now lives in Denver, Colorado. In 2006 Almendinger started all eight races and won three of them. Almendinger 25, a good driver and his forte is that he so young that he's such a good driver and that he'll be around for awhile. His team is the Forsythe Championship racing team and he is a three year veteran like Bourdais.

Almendinger, since 2004 has started in 35 races and won three of them and those three wins come in 2006.

Other great drivers that's at the Grand Prix very consistent that's been around for a long time is Paul Tracey from the Toronto area who now lives in Las Vegas its his 16th year in Champ Car racing. Tracey has started 244 races and has won 30.

This year he started all eight races and hasn't won yet. Tracey is one of the real veteran drivers that you'd have to say certainly is in the top three or four drivers in this Champ Car series.

Look for these drivers in this series as they compete for the top spot during the Sunday competition

JC and Kenny G's Grand Prix notes: Dan Rusanowsky the radio voice of the San Jose Sharks is doing the calls for this year's Grand Prix. Like last year's inaugural year Rusanowsky has done the Grand Prix proud with his spectacular coverage and his knowledge of all the drivers, the courses, the rules of the race.

Rusanowsky filled in for A's baseball years ago but really has shown his brilliance in the Grand Prix telecast and his broadcast of the live coverage can be heard throughout the entire Grand Prix grounds leaving many fans to say "I know that guy".

The Grand Prix will do qualifying once again and Sunday we'll have another Champion.

The Grand Prix grounds were decorated by booths from different organizations in the South Bay. The A's, Raiders and the Stealth had their own booths on campus as well as three radio stations are sponsoring the program.

The first two days have been record crowds exceeding last year's event and each day keeps upping the other. Our recommendation is try and grab a seat as soon as you get there in the grand stands. It's been warm you may want to bring a hat to block out the mean sun. The temperatures at the race have reached 85 degrees tops. No matter the weather the fans have loved it.
