The Knicks, Bulls, Magic, or even the Cavs are not a guarantee for free agent LaBron James where the decision where he'll sign is still up in the air. James who posted on Twitter that he has not made a decision yet as of Tuesday is still listening to offers.
If he does go to the Knicks he'll be good for a while but once his team finds that the Knicks don't have the supporting cast behind him they might rethink the philosophy. Being in the number one market is a gravitational pull but you have to ask yourself honestly when was the last time the Knicks were truly championship worthy.
The 1999 team didn't count and the 94 team was possibly the last legitimate worthy team they had, that's a long time. If LaBron signs with the Knicks the Knicks would have to spend more money to get a supporting cast around LaBron so they could be post season worthy if they spend it right.
The Knicks are owned by James Dolan and the Dolan family doesn't have much of a clue as far as managing a basketball team.
Jamie Farr Classic: No it's not required that everybody has to wear a dress when they come to the Jamie Farr Classic but some of the players do at the LPGA. Na Yeon Choi birded in the second hole to beat Christina Kim on Monday and two others in Ohio.
Choi who lost the lead and then won it and is fairly unknown in golf and for her to win it like she did. She had rounds in 64, 67, 68 and 71 to finish 14 under for 270.This is a great story and you just go from there.
Earnhart Jr. says he has to get better: Dale Earnhart Jr. who finished fourth in Daytona last weekend said he simply has to improve to a be legit championship contender. Wins make the difference in racing. With Jr. they haven't come very often.
He's now two years plus with his last win and he's only won three times in the last five years and that's almost a 200 race stretch now where he's won three times. He has won 15 times in his first 200 races.
Daytona track being repaved: They're repaving it that's the reason they had three races there on Saturday night. There were problems but a lot of those problems are going to go away once this new pavement is in place.
Which should be in place for the 500 in February of 2011. Some of the drivers didn't like the repaving but that's because it doesn't fit their driving style. Las Vegas when they had their pavement put in three years ago everybody was absolutely detesting it.
Now slowly but surely three years later with the speeds up and they run well on it and it's a good thing. It's an adjustment period that's required.
