As the Seattle Super Sonics were turning a page by hiring P.J. Carlesimo maybe Reggie Theus the new head coach of the Sacramento Kings was penning his first. Reggie Theus was seen at the Embassy Hotel in Downtown Sacramento having dinner with former NBA head coach Bob Weiss.

Basketball was the topic of conversation while ever the ambassador Reggie Theus for the Kings was extemly friendly as he was interrupted constantly by eager fans who wanted to say hello.

Weiss had been the head coach for Seattle after Nate McMillan Had left to take the same job for the Portland Trailblazers. Weiss gives first time head coach Theus the experienced number one assistant that he will need in his first year at the reins of the Sacramento Kings. Weiss’s experience coaching in a tough western conference will also give Theus some added insight on more than just the X’s and O’s level that will prove invaluable during the 82 game regular season.

Weiss resume includes playing in the NBA for twelve’s seasons, assistant coaching positions in Buffalo (San Diego Clippers), Dallas, Orlando and Seattle, while being the head coach for San Antonio, Atlanta, the Los Angles Clippers and Seattle.
