SAN JOSE--Former WBC heavyweight champion Manuel "El Toro" Esada (24-4, 15KOs) made a punching bag out of John Clark (12-4-1, 7KO's). The brawl lasted four rounds and Esada won by the judges’ decision.

The estimated crowd of 3,000 fight fans showed up but had to wait until 10:45PM for the main event. Esada jabbed and hooked Clark all night long. Clark had a swollen left eye and that might have contributed to the refs calling the fight.

Clark took many hard blows from Esada and he was on the ropes from start to finish. Clark didn't have a chance against Esada who took the inside on all his punches, keeping Clark off balance; and Clark landed just a few punches.

When Esada stepped into the ring, he was in command all fight long. Clark, although he weighed 280 lbs, was not a match for Esada. There was a lot of boxer dancing going on and Esada wore out Clark.

The next fight night in the tank is scheduled for September. You can count on Michael Wang and Ralph Gora to be there with all the excitement of Fight Night in the Tank at HP Pavilion in San Jose for Sportstalk Radio.
