ORLANDO--With all the injuries the Celtics had to bear and a loss to the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night 113-92 the Celtics who at one time were up three games to none in the Eastern Conference Finals find themselves almost even with the Magic leading by just one game in the best of seven 3-2.

The Magic who won game four took game five with the help their star Dwight Howard who chalked up 21 points and ten rebounds. The Magic who were just plain flat in games one through three have shown signs of life and Magic head coach Stan Van Gundy concurs that the Magic have played better ball, "I don't know if you can say the momentum when you're down 3-2 going into their place, I still look at it like were climbing a huge mountain here. But were playing better." said Van Gundy.

The Celtics have been tarnished with injuries, in game four they lost Rajon Rondo for most of the second half due to muscle spasms, he returned Wednesday night and threw down 19 points and teammate Rasheed Wallace hit 21 points in the ill fated effort. Kendrick Perkins the Celts center suffered his seventh foul of the playoffs which is an automatic suspension unless there is some referendum. Perkins was lost for the critical moments of the game.

The Magic's Jameer Nelson had 24 points and J.J.Redick had 14 which made the difference and Howard had five blocks and the Magic had a 14 point lead that boosted the club not to mention they went 13-25 for three pointers which helped silence the Celts.

The Celtics Glen "Big Baby" Davis was knocked out of the game when he was hit with an elbow to the face by the Magic's Howard. Davis tried to run down the floor after the hit but almost collapsed due to a concussion from the elbow and was propped up by referee Joey Crawford before hitting the hardwood.

The Celtics second stringer Marquis Daniels was hit with an elbow and also received a concussion from the Howard, Daniels had to leave as Daniels was complaining of dizziness and the Wallace had to leave because he "tweaked" his back.

Ziz's Final notes: The Magic are in fact half way to history as the Celtics who had a commanding 3-0 lead and looked like they'd finish up in game four are now a battle worn team and are headed back to Boston just a game up on the Magic on Friday night for game six. The fans in Boston are concerned due to the fact that this year's Boston Bruins hockey team was eliminated after being up three games to none to the Philadelphia Flyers who are in the finals and then lost four straight to them who are now in the Stanley Cup Finals. The Celtics could fall victim to the Magic if Orlando can win the next two games.

The Boston Red Sox in baseball were down in the ALCS to the New York Yankees 3-0 and staged the greatest comeback ever with four straight wins to win the 2004 American League pennant. The Sox went on to win their first World Series that year since 1918. Only three teams in professional sports have come back and won a post season series when down three to one. One in baseball, two in hockey, and now the Magic could be looking at being the first NBA team if they win their next two games.
