Here we go again fans ! Harley Davidson motorcycles riding out thru the smoke, cheerleaders and ready set go ! Wolve howls resonating in the old Cow Palace. The San Jose Wolves are on the prowl.

The Scaryone is growing fond of the accomodating atmosphere of the American Indoor Football Association league play. Pre game interviews with the Head coach Bennie King and the affable Defensive Coordinatior Larry Thompson are never a problem.

The crowd tonight is a little larger. Owner Ryan Peterson has used some promotions to help with attendance. The word is starting to get around. The local print media is now covering the scene.

In the back of some of the player's minds is the impending NFL lockout in 2011. UFL and NFL scouts are in attendance tonight. Remember Kurt Warner playing with the arena league Iowa Barnstormers before going on to NFL fame !

Last weeks game was an offensive blitz, final score 60-57 in favor of the Wolves so its not hard to grasp the attraction of indoor football.Out there in the stands some little guys are imagining that they can always be involved even if they don't get to go to USC or Florida State.

The whole family can rock without worrying about making the rent. Fans aren't going to worry about the Wolves falling behind early in the first half 30-7. Anything can happen in Indoor football !

At halftime I had the pleasure Wof interviewing the owner of the San Jose Wolves , Ryan Petersen. When I asked about his motivation in owning the team , Ryan stated it was his love of football that got him involved. He credits his young son with coming up with the Wolves name.

The fact that I can speak with the team owner without being challenged by a pack of bodyguards is in stark contrast to the NFL. The NO FUN LEAGUE is become a monster beyond the average fan's pocketbook and a major hassle for the independant media.

Ryan Peterson wants return to the San Jose venue as soon as possible. I encourage all the less than rich football fans to catch the San Jose Wolves at the Cow Palace and your wallet will thank you!
