The Vancouver Canucks or the Chicago Blackhawks face off on each other and the Canucks who have to win two to get to the third round feel they can do it they've already done it twice. Why not? The Canucks have to come out with some focus when they play the Blackhawks and they've got to keep it simple.
If they keep it simple and do the little things well, they're going to have a better shot at winning and again you go back there and force a game seven in Chicago and the Canucks have already won twice in that building it'll be anyone's game simple as that.
Jonathan Toews of the Blackhawks said, "the thing is that Vancouver having a little more urgency off the start on Sunday night, that's what it takes sometimes you have to be desperate because it's life or death in these playoffs."
It showed with the Canucks who didn't do anything radical, they didn't take any stupid penalties, the power play was effective and the Blackhawks got in a hole, I had to wonder what it would have done coverage wise if Vancouver goaltender Roberto Luongo had finished with a shutout, but that's okay a three hole win is one you take with a smile and thank you very much and you get back on the plane go home and get ready for game six.
PGA update: Tiger Woods swing coach has quit and left working with Tiger Woods. It was reported that Woods swing coach left Woods on good terms. Harvey Haney who has coached Tiger for many years is leaving and wrote a statement to the media saying, "I have informed Tiger Woods this evening that I will no longer be his coach. I would like to thank Tiger for the opportunity that I had to work with him over the six plus years. Tiger Woods has done the work to achieve a level of greatness that I believe the game of golf has never seen before and I will always appreciate the opportunity that I have had to contribute to his success.
I have also enjoyed the association that I have had with Tiger both on and off the golf course as I have had some incredible experiences. In coaching and teaching Tiger. I have learned a lot, not only about golf, but about people and life in general. It has been a great learning experience and along the way Tiger has elevated me in my own profession to a level that I never thought I would achieve before I had the opportunity to work with him.
Tiger Woods and I will always be friends, but I believe that there is a time and a place for everything and I feel at this time and at this place in my life I want to move forward in other areas."
Woods left the Players Championship Sunday with a sore neck on Sunday which could be related to a bulging disc and just when Tiger has had enough in his life he's now losing his coach. As far as breaking Jack Nicklaus' all time Masters record he has four more Masters to win and number two at this point who cares. Who cares about breaking that record it's not an issue.
