A-Rod swinging a hot rod

Hey, George Steinbrenner...is A-Rod playing like a Yankee now? First of all, that was an obscene statement from "the boss." Stienbrenner is still of the belief that if he spends more money, the World Series trophies will come.

Stienbrenner keeps changing the New York Yankees so often, putting pieces in and pulling them in and out. Teams have to learn to play together and that's part of whats really happening. The Yankees are still having to come together in what they're doing so they'll be able to know how to win as a team.

I don't think pieces are automatically put into place, but Rodriguez' three home runs and 10 RBI he had against the Angels Tuesday, we'll be talking about that 25 years from now.

On Tuesday night, A-Rod just missed getting his fourth home run of the game. The ball looked "like a grapefruit" to him and any baseball player in the world who has had that kind of experience would love to keep that kind of an eye on the ball all of the time.

Who knows what causes it, but sometimes they just zone in and they're able to make it happen. A-Rod became the 11th big league player with 10 or more RBI in one game, but the fifth to do three home runs in 10 or more RBI.
