Ron Artest is one of the big reasons why the Sacramento Kings are in the playoffs. Artest has been the spark for the offense he's obvious key player and typical Artest he got in trouble with the league and couldn’t play on Tuesday night.
It just seems like that Trouble seems to be his middle name and he was suspended for game two.
Most observers really didn’t expect the Kings to put on the show they did on Tuesday night and obviously it took a tremendous effort by the San Antonio Spurs to come back to tie the game and then put it into overtime.
You just had a feeling when the game went into overtime and not to belittle the Kings the Spurs are one of the best teams in the NBA and you just had that feeling that the Kings just weren't going to do it in overtime and San Antonio in the overtime came back and finished very strong.
Look for San Antonio to finish this series and move on to the later rounds of the playoffs and they should finish it off here in Sacramento in four games and certainly a good team find a way to win.
The Kings are going to move on despite this suspension and they are going to take the attitude that they are a professional NBA team and when you get down two games to none the Kings realize its going to be tough for the Kings to come back even on their home floor.
So in Game #2 it was more professional pride that they weren't trying to prove anything they just won on professional pride. The Kings got smoked in game one loosing by 34 points.
The Kings went out and did the best they could do in the name of professional pride and the Kings took the attitude that they were going to go out and show the Spurs that they can win and they almost did.
To the credit the Kings with a little luck the Kings could have pulled it off.
JC & Kenny G's Game 3 prediction: You never know the out come of any game ask the Spurs Tuesday night they had no idea they would almost drop game two at home to the Kings.
Obviously returning home to your home court it's definitely an advantage for any team and certainly the Sacramento Kings where you’re going to have most of the fans and a majority of the fans behind the team.
The thing is the San Antonio Spurs are the reigning champs and the Spurs are the team that if they won the championship this year not too many people would be too surprised.
You have to consider the Spurs one of the top teams so look for San Antonio to win the game now whether it’s going to be a win or a blow out it's to look at the Kings on paper and then look at the Spurs and see how San Antonio handles the Kings.
