1. Reggie Bush's family has moved out of a Spring Valley CA home amid speculation that Michael Michaels homeowner and someone who has ties to New Era Sports Products and marketing company owned the home and allowed Bush's parents to live in the house in exchange for product endorsements when he reached the NFL. Bush's family stayed in the Spring Valley house during last football season.
Unfortunately no one will be held responsible for this action. Bush has finished his association with USC and New Era Sports is independent of the NCAA. The only way some type of punishment would come about is if there is some type of grand jury investigation (a la Chris Webber and Michigan). If that happened USC could loose their two National Titles. Wouldn't that be interesting?
2. Bush's Mom Denise said,"I have absolutely nothing to say" after being approached by a reporter about how they acquired the house. The PAC 10 is not sure either how to deal with the situation even if there was some deal made between the Bushes and Michaels since Bush is leaving for the NFL. How do you see that scenario playing out?
Anyone who say "I have absolutely nothing to say" when someone ask you a question usually has something to say that will get them into a lot of trouble.
3. Reggie Bush is headed for the NFL and at this point no one will really be on the other end of the punishment on this. But the uncovering of this and the moving of the Bushes in 24 hours sure leaves something to desire. Michelle, do the Bushes have something to hide?
Of course they have something to hide, but since no one can prove it, let it go and move on.
