All last week all you heard about is Tiger this and Tiger that, everybody was so hyped on Tiger and then Phil Mickelson comes and plays absolutely the most solid Masters that I've seen him play and it was a beautiful thing to watch and watching him at the par 18 like he did that was special seeing him hug his wife and that was just great to witness.

Unlike a guy named Eldrick, it was awesome to watch him make shots, make putts and be classy like a certain anchorman used to say, "stay classy, stay classy."

2000 SF Giants Pac Bell Park reunion was a circus: 2000 as we know was a great year, 2000 was historic in that sense that you’re away from the wind box that was along San Francisco Bay and they moved to a different location downtown. Then two years later 2002 the Giants won the National League pennant and went to the World Series against the Angels.

You just had a good feeling getting away from Candlestick Park, it was a good thing. That 2000 team with a certain Babo that we know and loath, it was really an okay year. I don't want to get too much into what that 2000 team meant but in terms of the bigger scheme of things it was good.

Here we are ten years later, it’s all good for the San Francisco Giants.

Sharks-Avalanche game one Wednesday night: The Sharks are not going to win one thing this season and that's the President's Trophy but their shooting for the whole shooting match when they get started with the Avalanche on Wednesday night at HP Pavilion for game one of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

The Sharks who didn't get the President's Trophy because of a certain team in D.C. kicked everybody's butt the Washington Caps. The heat is on the other side aisle now.

NHL first round playoffs: It's going to be an entertaining first round top to bottom and San Jose has had a history with Colorado in the past, back in the day in past first rounds and second rounds for that matter. I can see San Jose actually advancing this time even though they lost their chance when Chicago lost to Detroit on Sunday.

So that gave the Sharks the number one seed, this time there shouldn't be a monster jinx, there should not be pressure and you have to think that the Sharks can get on and get past.

The way the Sharks are replacing each other on line changes to replacing the right guys who get injured and can't play like Joe Thornton who missed a few games when he injured his leg against the Canucks in March.

Ryan Newman's Daytona 500 victory: Charlie O our race car correspondent would have been proud of Newman's finish on Saturday winning the Daytona 500. False creations and certain things happen when cars get abused for 600 kilometers.

You’re going to get cautious because things are going to happen so you could play the cards right and do the thing and do it well and Newman was in the right place at the right time and made the right move and he won which is a good thing after not winning the Daytona since 2008.
