SJ Earthquakes host media day April 11th at McAffee Coliseum

SAN JOSE, CALIF. –- The San Jose Earthquakes will be hosting a media day and luncheon on the 12th of April at 11:00 a.m. at the McAfee Coliseum. This event will include practices from both soccer teams, lunch, and distribution of press passes for the season.
The Earthquakes will practice from 11:00 a.m., and the Fire will hold their practice from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. There will be a lunch served in between the practices.
The Earthquakes players and coaches will be available following their practice. This includes Coach Frank Yallop, defender Nick Garcia, and former fire player Ivan Guerrero. Chicago’s star player Cuauhtémoc Blanco will be available for interviews before the Fire practice.
All media members are going to be able to pickup their 2008 Earthquakes Media Guides, season credentials, and their parking passes. These will be available at the Plaza level on the West side of the stadium. After this, the media members are free to go down to watch the practices.

Media members need to park in Lot A off the 66th Avenue exit, and be sure to tell the guard at the gate that you are attending the Earthquakes Media Day.
The San Jose Earthquakes host the Chicago Fire on Saturday, April 12th, at 1:30 p.m. PST at the McAfee Coliseum in Oakland, CA. The match will be broadcast live on Fox Soccer Channel (FSC) and live on the Spanish radio station KLOK 1170 AM.
