SAN JOSE--This one could be one for the record folks as Fight Night in the Tank will host the opening season series for 2008 between local defender Andre Ward 14 wins, O loses, (9 KOs) versus challenger Rubin "Mr.Hollywood" Williams 29-3 (16 KOs).

This one also could be the one not only the Fight Night in the Tank history books but it could prove to be Andre Ward's toughest challenge.

In past fights that Ward has been in he has won them all and the ones he fought in HP Pavilion he usually fought one to two rounds and came out a resounding winner and undisputed too.

But this time is a little bit different Ward from Oakland is fighting Williams 31 years in age and has a boxing Olympic Award in 2004 lots of experience and has a whopping record. One thing's for sure this match will not be two rounds for Ward.

The ten round main event is a fight that Williams is looking forward to and Williams is aware that Ward is the main card favorite, "I'm coming to fight, stylistically I come to fight with my jab in the business. I'm coming to knock Andre Ward out. I think I have a very sneaky right hand that's to looked out for. I haven't watched Andre that much. What I did see makes me believe it's not going to the scorecards. I think he's biting off more than he can chew right now."

Ward is a believer and is avoiding that Hollywood walk of fame and trying to establish himself much to what he has done in past fights at the Tank in the early rounds. With Williams from Detroit and experienced it could be a round by round decision by the judges in this one.

Ward has won every fight he's been in and this will prove to be the toughest challenge yet for Ward. Ward says he's been training harder than ever for this fight on Thursday night and Williams says with that knowledge this is going to be a blood sport on Thursday night in the Tank, "Defiantly I'm his toughest challenge by far. It's going to be a real good step for Andre taking this fight. I'm fighting him at his home but it really doesn't matter because I'm a fighter. I'm an old school kind of dude. You know I'll fight any where it doesn't matter to me. On the 20th we'll see what happens." said Williams.

The Fight Night in the Tank bell rings at 7:30PM Thursday night see Andre Ward versus Rubin "Mr.Hollywood" Williams at HP Pavilion for the season's first fight.
