ALBUQUERQUE - Let the madness begin.

Starting with the men's bracket, first up in the Chicago regional is Illinois and Fairleigh Dickinson. My picks for the first round are Illinois, Nevada, Alabama, Boston College, LSU, Arizona, and I'm taking a longshot with St. Mary's. The Gaels are playing with a lot of heart, so I'm going to give them a chance to get to the next round over Southern Illinois. Oklahoma State will round out the first-round winners from Chicago.

At the hometown regional here in Albuquerque, I like top-seeded University of Washington and I'm picking the Pittsburgh over Pacific, just because they have a lot more and they're a tougher team.

Also in the regional, you have Georgia Tech and George Washington. It's tight, but I'm going to say Georgia Tech, then Louisville, and I'm taking Texas Tech over UCLA. UCLA has been lucky all year.

The real marquee game that people don't even know about right now is Gonzaga vs. Winthrop. Gonzaga can probably go to the Sweet 16 if they get past this game.

Rounding out the regional, I have West Virginia over Creighton and Wake Forest over Chattanooga.

In the East at Syracuse, North Carolina is going to play Oakland University. They're going to advance because it's just a crappy game.

I'm going to take Iowa State over Minnesota, the University of New Mexico over Villanova. Watch out for Lobos All-American Danny Grainger. This guy is projected to be a top 15 draft pick. New Mexico had a much better team than Utah, the Lobos were 0-3 when Grainger was out with an injury.

Rounding out the regional, I have Florida over Ohio, I'm picking Wisconsin over Northern Arizona and Kansas over Bucknell.

At the Austin regional, I have Duke over Delaware, Mississippi State over Stanford, Michigan State over Old Dominion, Syracuse over Vermont, and I'm taking UTEP to take out Utah. UTEP is a little school and they're playing very well - do not count them out.

The University of Utah thinks too much about Andrew Bogut. Everything goes through Bogut for the Utes and I think UTEP has a good, balanced game.

Elsewhere in the Austin regional, I've got Oklahoma over Niagara, Iowa over Cincinnati, and Kentucky over Eastern Kentucky.

I'll be honest with you - I think Louisville is going to go deep into the tournament, but know this. The first weekend of March madness is always some of the most exciting basketball, when the underdog comes up. This is the time for upsets because people don't take these little schools seriously, the schools that could.

Keep a watch and see - it's going to be exciting. Hold on and get ready for a ride of your life.

Michelle Touson and David Zizmor will be sharing analysis of the NCAA tournament during March Madness whose going to be there and who isn't tune them in on 1430 KVVN San Jose and 1110 KLIB Sacramento.
