San Jose, CA – The San Jose Earthquakes have announced that there is an addition to the coaching staff. The new coach, Jason Batty, will be the goalkeeper coach for the quakes.
Jason Batty recently served as the Director of goalkeeping for Texas Premier SC. Prior to this; he was a goalkeeper coach and assistant coach for Dartmouth College.
The quakes have hired Jason because of his background in international play and his success as a goalkeeper and coach.
He played for 14 years in various soccer leagues, including Singapore, England, New Zealand, and the United States. He did especially well for the New Zealand National team, including 55 caps.
The San Jose Earthquakes will be kicking off the season in April 2008.
