The New York Yankees Alex Rodriguez and the New York Mets centerfielder Carlos Beltran have both admitted to visiting the Canadian doctor Dr.Anthony Galea. Galea is the doctor who had treated embattled golf star Tiger Woods and Woods credited Galea at the time of knee surgery of getting him back on the mend quickly.

Belran spoke with Federal officials investigating Galea for using Actovegin an agent that is extracted from calves’ blood and is used for healing. Beltran worked with Galea last year in a rehab program, and his bruised right knee felt better. Later Beltran's knee regressed and he had to leave the Mets and went home to Puerto Rico.

"I have nothing to worry about nothing to hide, I just went there for an opinion for my knee" said Beltran. Galea is under investigation for distributing HGH and another drug over the U.S.-Canadian border. Woods had denied in his last press conference that he used steroids to improve the wellness of his knee.

He did not discuss any relationship between him and Galea at the presser and what’s on record. Canadian authorities reportedly initially have documented records as to who visited Galea and Woods name turned up as one of those who was visited by Galea when he flew to Florida to see Woods during the time of Tiger's knee injury.

When you think about you had the feeling that something bad was going to happen even though Tiger denied everything as far as anyone providing him with any P.E.T.S let's call it for what they are and performance enhancer is too much of a mouth full.

This investigation is something that MLB doesn't need: This is one investigation that you don't want to worry about things too much. A-Rod admitted juicing but now here is this new wrinkle and he had to talk to the Feds last week and Beltran talked on Tuesday.

Cardinal batting coach Mark McGwire's story is trying to get some sense of forgiveness even though he's training and coaching the likes of Albert Pujols. This story might now be something not to get too worked up over. We'll see what documents the feds might turn over in this case. In the meantime A-Rod and Beltran have both been questioned and Tiger denies it all.

Bashed brothers: McGwire whose brother Jay said he will never speak to him again because of his of a spanking incident involving Jay's son when he bumped McGwire with hot coffee the second runner up to the all season home run total spanked Jay's son and that touched off the rift.

This is one table you don't want to be around during any holiday celebration. It's usually family first but when you have your own brother is trying to do a tell all in a book the book might be the real reason for the Berlin Wall going up between McGwire and Jay.

Also no talking again to Bash Bro Jose: I don't worry about Jose Canseco he's trying to be truthful and look at all the names that were exposed since the book came out. McGwire has also put Jose on his "never talk to me again" list.

Is Danica shying away from next race?: Mark Martin's car is tied to Go Daddy.com and so the sponsors still have the name out there. For Danica Patrick to not want to race in NASCAR in the next four months is about the style of car that she's driving, a stock car weighs about 1,000 lbs more and even without the driver.

Patrick has a heavier car than she's trying to control, the first rule of thumb is challenging and it's really truly challenging to try and control something that's that heavy and going that fast. She's going to learn there are going to be some missteps along the way. She's got to accept that.

Jimmie Johnson: Johnson in the Las Vegas race came from 20th in the early stages but he just kept coming and just kept coming my first thought was trying to monitor Kevin Harvick who ended up as the runner up and who passed Jeff Gordon and second in the end. Johnson had a good car and made the four time call in the pit stop late with 37 laps remaining.

That was the least amount of difference. Rick Hendrick said this about Johnson "Jimmie is the closest thing to a computer than a race car that any owner can ever have, easily."

Johnson knows what’s going on and he processing as everything that goes on and he's as happy as a clam when he wins. There was one real exchange that I learned he said, "you have to be in touch of the flow of the race and just because one person is doing two tires you don't necessarily have to follow along."

They had no idea they were going to only to do two tires and Gordon's group was only going to do two and they had no idea that they were going to end up doing four. So if you’re not fluid and not willing to go with the flow then you shouldn't be out there and that's the part of this sport that a lot of people have a hard time understanding.

Syracuse number one first time in 20 years: This moment had former Syracuse alum and Giants broadcaster Greg Papa saying at spring training "I have to pinch myself is this happening?"

This is from that old broadcasting Syracuse alumnus that Papa and Bob Costas came from and graduated from. They are all happy in class though. Syracuse finally being number one and finally a shot at winning a national title.

This team has enough to make it there and they'll be among the final four.

Kansas was great this season too, Syracuse and Kansas are the final two candidates for the final four right now.

Cal Bears at the top of the Pac Ten: Why not head coach Mike Montgomery had every right to be proud of his players after they beat Arizona putting the team on top for first time in 50 years finishing with a huge victory with just one more game left in the season at Stanford on Saturday.

Don't be surprised Cal may win a couple of rounds this season, they have potential and they looked good and Monty is doing a fine job. How many coaches do you know that can boast coaching schools in their area like Montgomery did at Stanford and at Cal.
