Sportstalk: And here's to you Mr.Robinson, once again Corvallis 13-13 (7-8) head coach Craig Robinson took the Beavers to another victory over the Cal Bears 20-7 (9-5). 65-54. The Bears were shutdown on defense again and couldn't get the offense moving how much game plan did coach Robinson put into making the Bears offense his understudy because it sure paid off in the low score from Saturday night.

Michelle: Oregon State had some leadership that they didn't previously and coach Robinson just brought some fresh prospective to the team. As far as Cal is concerned they're just have to work on winning. You have to learn now to finish games.

You just to know that you have to play all the way through. You just can't play the game you have to win the game.

Sportstalk: With a rugged schedule coming up for Cal and being tied with UCLA not only will the students athletes have to hit the books in school but head coach Mike Montgomery will have some heavy homework for the club in preparing for their next game at home against SC on Thursday night what items do you think he will have the club work on?

Michelle: They're not any worse or better than USC and it's not that they can't beat USC they can. They're going to have to learn how to win, you just can't play a game you have to win a game and usually when people lose a game you can go back and find that critical moment when the game was lost.

Cal is just going have to learn how to win it and learn how to be finishers.

Sportstalk: The Oregon Ducks 7-20 (1-14) went Cardinal 15-10 (4-10) hunting and picked up their first Pac 10 victory in Eugene on Saturday night 68-60 at 1:42 left in the game the Cardinal's Lawrence Hill thought he chalked up a three pointer but after replay reviews it was ruled a two pointer and the Cardinal fell behind and never saw day light again losing the ball game. Michelle how tough is it to be a victim of the Ducks first conference win and to lose on a replay decision like that?

Michelle: This game was not lost in the last 1:42, that game was lost somewhere probably in the first half, it definitely was not just lost. You have to play all the way through. Usually in the game you can find a critical moment somewhere before that's where that game was lost.

It wasn't lost when Hill lept for a three pointer. Oregon, nobody wants to be the new Detroit Lions of anything they don't want to pull a doughnut.

As far as the Cardinal they had a decent year. They lost so much leadership and interior play when they lost Brook, Robin and Lopez.

They lost so much so it's just going to be a tough time. Then they lost there coach. It's just going to take a moment. I think their season will turn around next year and they'll definitely be in the hunt of things.

The Pac Ten is really deep and rich for talent with both Arizona and Arizona State, UCLA, and Cal is the emerging team. Oregon State is trying to emerge now Oregon is trying to get back to their winning ways. Washington is trying to get back. Really the only team under producing this year is Oregon.

The Pac Ten is a tough conference to play in and it's a very tough conference to be in and basically. You have to come all the time. You can't underestimate any talent. So better luck next year. Play the season out and wait and see what happens next year.

Final thoughts: I'm really sick of hearing about A-Rod and steroids and I'm sick about hearing about Bud Selig but Major League Baseball you are to blame. The Commissioner is to blame, the Players Union is to blame. Everyone is to blame.

Everybody culpable I'm tired of hearing about A-Rod and everybody so shocked an surprised. I'm not shocked and surprised that he took steroids and nobody should be.

You can't be punished him because he didn't know. And MLB didn't know how to test him and you turned your head for 20 years to steroids and amphetamines abuse so just let it be.

Get together and make these policies that are really going to mean something. Put a year ban for the first time for getting caught the first time.

If you get caught for the first time get banned for the whole year like David "Big Pappy" Ortiz was saying the other day. The second time your banned for life. When you start taking cheese off somebody's hamburger that's when they start rising to the occasion.
