SAN JOSE - The San Jose Stealth dropped their game in Philadelphia against the Wings. The Stealth, who lost again by just one goal, 9-8 Saturday night, don't have that chemistry yet. San Jose fell to 2-3 on the early season.

Like many of their home games, this one in Philadelphia saw a number of lead changes.

In those final precious minutes, the Stealth can't seem to get anything done. They have so many new players, but there's not a whole lot of offense there.

The Stealth's power play is atrocious although their goalkeeping is a little better, but the effort on the power play hasn't been there yet.

Is Lacrosse catching on in San Jose? There is a lot more popularity among lacrosse leagues in the Bay Area in general. There have been a lot more people who want to play in those leagues, so the Stealth have really given the NLL that much more of a hold. Lacrosse is a fun game to play - a combination of football, basketball and hockey with the line changes, shot clock and the hitting going on.

Lacrosse is a very good game and I'm surprised it hasn't been introduced to San Jose sooner. We're just now finding out what kind of a game it really is. The proof is in the pudding when NBC has agreed to cover NLL games. We'll see how the numbers work around the country. If it catches on, it'll be a blast.

Join Jeremy Harness for his coverage of the Stealth. The Stealth host the Colorado Mammoth Friday, Feb. 18 at HP Pavilion at 7:30PM.
