The Sacramento Kings beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 107-104 at Quicken Loans Arena before a full house. Sacramento led 84-82 going into the final quarter, in fact 103-93 in the middle of the fourth quarter. They held on to win 107-104.

The game began with both teams shooting very well. At the quarter it was 34-34. Cleveland built a 16 point lead in the second quarter. It was Cleveland 67, Sacramento 53 at the half. The Cavaliers shot 60 per cent in the first half. Ramon Sessions is a very good shooting guard.

The third quarter was the Kings chipping away at the Cavs' lead. The Kings had a narrow 84-82 lead going into the fourth quarter. They built the lead to 103-93 by mid quarter. 'We opened it up in the fourth quarter, we needed every bit if it', commented Kings Head Coach Paul Westphal.

Sacramento could have put the game out of reach, but DeMarcus Cousins missed a free throw and Omri Casspi missed two in the final seconds. Casspi looked dejected for his misses when interviewed after the game, but in fact his offense and defense were major reasons the Kings prevailed. And Samuel Dalembert played very well against Anderson Varejao.

The Kings already have two road wins this season. Last season they had only seven road win.

The open their home season Monday against the Toronto Raptors.
