Evans, Casspi lead Kings to Victory in Cleveland

Omri Casspi made the most of his first start of the season. Casspi finished with 20 points including 6 three point field goals as the Kings finish their three game road trip 2-1 to start the season. Tyreke Evans had a solid all around game finishing with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assist. Rookie DeMarcus Cousins continues to impress for the Kings finishing with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Carl Landry added 17 points and Beno Urich recorded his first double- double of the season with12 points and 11 assists. Ramon Sessions lead the Cavaliers with 21 points while Daniel Gibson added 20.

The Kings lead throughout the game before Cleveland went of a 12-2 run late in the 4Th quarter to cut the lead to three with 5 seconds left. Jawad Williams made 1-of-2 foul shots for the Cavs with 4.4 seconds left, making it a two-point game. Cousins was able to sink a free throw with two seconds left, but Gibson's half-court shot was well off the mark.

The Kings will return to Sacramento tonight and have a three game home-stand starting with the home opener Monday night against Toronto.
