Kings snap 8 game losing streak to lowly Clippers

The Sacramento Kings got just what a young team needs to snap an eight game losing streak, a visit from the dysfunctional Clippers. The Kings started the 4Th quarter on a 16-2 run, building a 22 point lead before winning 116-94. With the win the Kings also broke a five game home losing streak.

The Kings scored 116 points after not scoring 100 points in each of the last eight games. The Kings made a season-high-tying 50 field goals. Tyrke Evans recorded a game high 28 points to go with six rebounds, seven assists and two steals. It was Evans' 39Th 20-point performance of the season.

Jason Thompson recorded his 23rd double-double of the season, finishing with 22 points and a game-high 10 rebounds. Carl Landry tallied his forth double-double of the season since joining the Kings with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Chris Kaman lead the Clippers with 21 points as Los Angeles losing streak reached seven games.

The Kings will be off until they host Dallas on Saturday night.
