The Nets snapped their franchise record 14-game home losing streak tonight by defeating the Kings 93-79. The Nets snapped a 8 game overall losing streak. Prior to tonight, the Nets last home victory came on 1/27/10 when they defeated the Clippers 103–87. With the win tonight, the Nets avoided becoming the 3rd team in NBA history to have lost 15 consecutive home games.

The Kings were playing without rookie Tyreke Evans who was on the road with the team but didn't play for the 2ND straight game due to a concussion he sustained Friday night against Milwaukee. The Kings were lead by another solid game from guard Beno Udrih who finished with a team high 19 points to go with 8 rebounds and 5 assists. All five starters for the Kings scored in double figures while reserve Jason Thompson, who is a native of New Jersey and was playing in front of family and friends finished with 8 points and a team high 11 rebounds.

With the win tonight, the Nets got only their second victory against a Western Conference opponent. Their first was against the Clippers on 1/27.

Brook Lopez recorded his 21st 20/10 double-double tonight, finishing with game-highs of 26 points on 11-of-21 shooting, 13 rebounds and four blocks in 39 minutes. Lopez’s career-high for blocks is 5(3) last on 1/14/09 at BOS.

Devin Harris tallied 24 points and a game-high nine assists in 33 minutes tonight. He has now reached 20+ points 16 times this season.

The Kings continue their five game road streak Friday when they travel to Boston to take on the Celtics.
