Kings run out of gas down the stretch to the Grizzlies

The Memphis Grizzlies outscored the Kings, 17- 5, to close out the game after the score was tied 80-80, with 7:21 left in the fourth quarter. Sacramento was 2-12 from the field after the 80-80 tie, while the Grizzlies were 9-12 from the field from that point on. O.J. Mayo scored 10 straight points for the Grizzlies, beginning with a jumper at the 5:33 mark of the fourth quarter. He hit another jumper at 4:54, then followed it with two three-pointer.
The Kings played their second straight game without rookie Tyreke Evans, who missed the game tonight due to a concussion he suffered in the 4Th quarter of Friday night’s loss at home to Milwaukee. The Kings are now just 2-5 in games without Evans.
Carl Landry tallied a team high 23 points on 9-12 shooting from the floor. It was the 5Th time this season he has scored 20 or more points as a King. Landry posted3d consecutive 20 point games and has scored in double figures in all 17 games with the Kings.
Beno Udrih recorded a double-double with 18 points and 10 assists. He also tallied seven rebounds and two steals. Udrih has dished out 36 assists in the last three games.
Memphis has won eight of its last 11 games and three of its last four. Since the all-star break the Grizzlies are 8-1 on the road.
Zach Randolph recorded his 30Th double-double of the season with a game high 25 points and a game high 12 rebounds. He now holds the Grizzlies franchise single-season recorded for most rebounds, passing Kings assistant coach Shareef Addul-Rahim's 825 rebounds in the 1999-2000 season.
Sacramento no embarks on a five game road trip. The next home game for the Kings is April 3rd vs Portland.....
