CJ Watson scored 23 first half points for the Warriors, Stephen Curry had 15 points and 10 assists for the first half double double. Anthony Morrow chipped in 12 first half points to lead 72-45 at halftime. The Warriors shot 53 percent from the field in the first half and hit 7 of 11 from long distance. Watson finished with a career high 40 points and Curry ended up with 24 points and 15 assists.

The Warriors used a 42 – 16 2nd quarter advantage and a season high 46 fast break points to register the 32 point win. The warriors lead by as many as 35 in the 2nd quarter. After the game C.J Watson talked about scoring a career high 40 points, “ I didn’t think I was going to get it actually, I sat on the bench and my legs got tired so I missed three shots in a row so I just tried to get to the basket and get a lay-up.”

Tyreke Evans scored 17 points and dished out 10 assists for the Kings. Jason Thompson had his second straight double double with 17 points and 15 rebounds. The Kings and the Warriors split the season series 2-2, each winning both games at home.

Kevin Martin Traded: Just minutes after Kevin Martin stood in front of the media and said the Kings brass hadn’t told him anything about a possible trade, the Kings traded Kevin Martin to the Houston Rockets along with Sergio Rodriguez, Hilton Armstrong and Kenny Thomas for Tracy McGrady, Carl Landry and Joey Dorsey. Martin did make a comment before leaving the arena

“Sacramento gave me an opportunity. I was a late first-round pick. I could have been playing overseas. I assumed they still loved me. I was the ‘Golden Child’ – that’s what Corliss Williamson used to say. I guess that’s the sad part “But it was time. I used to be the young guy playing with old guys. Now I’m the old guy playing with young guys. Let the young guys develop. I appreciate them letting me go to a playoff caliber team at this time of my career.”
