San Francisco: The San Francisco Giants were unloaded on by the division leading San Diego Padres.
The score was 8-2, but the game was not even that close.
The Padres touched starter Tim Lincecum for eight hits and six runs in 3 2/3 innings.
For the first time in his career Lincecum has last three consecutive starts.
Padre starter Wade LeBlanc stopped the Giants on four hits and two runs in seven frames.
Giants manager defended Lincecum by saying "I thought Timmy played better than the statistics
showed. He was better than last time. (But) he's got to put this behime him."
"You're going to have some games like this". But the Giants are 3-14 against the Pods.
The Giants get a day off before traveling to Philadelphia to face the Phillies.
