SAN FRANCISCO-Once again, Tim Lincecum was rocked at home and the San Francisco Giants fell further behind the San Diego Padres.

Lincecum gave up six runs in just 3.2 innings of work, as the Padres defeated the Giants x-x before 42,834 at AT&T Park.

This was the 12th consecutive game that the Giants starter were not able to win, as they are now 0-7 with 5.88 ERA (42 earned runs in 64.1 ip), their longest stretch this season.

Jonathan Sanchez was the last starter to pickup a win, and that came on August 3, as the Giants defeated the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field.

During that span, the five relievers to win games are: Santiago Casilla, Javier Lopez, Chris Ray, Sergio Romo and Brian Wilson.

It was not a good day at all for the two-time Cy Young Award winner, as he allowed four runs in the top of the second inning and one each in the third and fourth innings.

Wade LeBlanc pitched a great game for the Padres, as they move to 3.5 games ahead of the second place Giants in the National League West.

LeBlanc gave up just two runs on four hits in seven innings of work, as he won his seventh game of the season against 10 losses.

Former Giants catcher Yorvit Torrealba hit a home run onto the fan lot bridge over the left field wall for his third home run of the season.

Jose Guillen picked up his first hit in a Giants uniform, a double in the bottom of the fourth inning; however he was thrown out at third attempting to stretch it into a triple.

Buster Posey hit his ninth home run of the season to account for the Giants first two runs of the afternoon, as he hit one over the Visa sign in right-center field.

Posey picked up hits in his first three at-bats, as he stays in contention to become the Giants first Rookie of the Year since John Montefusco won the award back in 1975.

Miguel Tejada continues his hot hitting against the Giants this season, as the 2002 American League MVP went 3-for-4 on the afternoon and is .458 (11-for-24) this season between the Baltimore Orioles and the Padres.

Adrian Gonzalez struck out four times in five at-bats for the Padres, this was the fifth time that he struck out four times in the same game and the third time this season.

NOTES: After an off-day on Monday, the Giants will take to the field in the “City of Brotherly Love,” as Barry Zito takes to the Citizens Bank Park mound versus the newly acquired Roy Oswalt and the Philadelphia Phillies.

With the loss, this was the first time in his major league career that Lincecum lost three consecutive decisions, and is now 2-3 with a 5.97 ERA since the All-Star break.
