Giants look to take hot bat on the road

The Giants finished off a 5-1 homestand with Wednesday's win over Baltimore, and they have some offensive momentum to go along with their pitching.
In only one game, Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Orioles, did the Giants fail to score at least five runs in a game, certainly a welcomed sign for a team that has continually struggled with swinging the bats. Even better yet, they have two of their best starting pitchers going in their upcoming three-game series in Toronto, which starts Friday.
Barry Zito (7-2, 3.10 ERA) will take the mound for the Giants opposite Toronto's Brandon Morrow (4-5, 5.14 ERA), who gave up only one run over six innings in his last start against Colorado last Saturday but was still tagged with the loss.
On Saturday, the Giants will send Matt Cain (6-4, 2.05 ERA) to the hill against Blue Jays righty Jesse Litsch, who made his 2010 debut last Sunday and was beaten up for seven runs and nine hits and only lasted 2 1/3 innings.
Jonathan Sanchez (5-5, 2.78 ERA) will be in for a battle on Sunday, when he faces Toronto righty Shaun Marcum (6-3, 3.31 ERA).
Notes: For the first time since April, the Giants will run into their old teammate, outfielder Fred Lewis, who is batting .291 with four home runs and 19 RBI going into Friday's game at Rogers Centre and is coming off a monster game on Wednesday, when he lit up the San Diego Padres for four hits, including a double and a triple en route to a 7-1 Blue Jays victory.
