SAN FRANCISCO-There may be a dilemma for the San Francisco Giants once Barry Zito comes off the disabled list, and that is what do you do with Ryan Vogelsong, who replaced Zito in the rotation?

Vogelsong went 6.1 innings, allowing zero runs on just one hit, while walking one and striking out four, as the Giants defeated the Colorado Rockies 3-0 completing the three-game sweep before a sellout crowd of 43,132 at AT&T Park.

This was the Giants first win of the season on a Sunday, after they started 0-5 and were outscored 33-19, entering Sunday’s game.

Besides being the Giants first win of the season on a Sunday, this is also the first time this season that the Giants swept an opponent.

Cody Ross drove in the first run of the game for the Giants in the bottom of the fourth inning, as he singled to drive in Pat Burrell, who doubled just before Ross came to the plate.

After walking four of the first six batters he faced, Jorge De La Rosa pitched a great game, as he allowed only three runs on just four hits, walked five and struck out seven, as he lost for the first time this season.

Chris Iannetta broke up Vogelsong’s perfect game and no-hit bid in the top of the sixth inning, as he smoked a single up the middle.

Following the single by Iannetta, the fans at AT&T Park gave Vogelsong a nice ovation for retiring the first 15 batters he faced.

Cody Ross hit his first home run of the season off of De La Rosa, a two-run blast over the left-center wall to give the Giants a three-run lead.

Brian Wilson came in the top of the ninth inning ,and despite allowing a single to Carlos Gonzalez, Wilson was able to get Troy Tulowitzki to ground out to end the game for his 11th save of the season.
