Four straight for the Cardinal

The first month of the season was definitely a good one for the Stanford Cardinal, and they started the second month of the season with a victory. Anthony Goods and Lawrence Hill each scored 15 points, as the Cardinal defeated the Colorado Buffaloes 67-43 in the Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Series. With the victory, the Cardinal have won four in a row since losing to the Siena Saints on November 17 and raise their record 8-1 on the season. Robin Lopez scored four points and six rebounds, as he was held scoreless until there 1:12 gone in the second half. The Cardinal blew open a close game, as they started the second half on 16-4 run. This will be the last game for the Cardinal until December 19, when the Cardinal will host the Santa Clara Broncos at Maples Pavilion. |
