Big Game upcoming for Cardinal

With the 45-23 loss to the USC Trojans, the Stanford Cardinal are in a must win situation in their regular season finale. Just like last week, the Cardinal facing another rival this weekend, as they travel to Berkeley to face the California Golden Bears on Saturday afternoon at Memorial Stadium. Yes, the Cardinal and the Golden Bears will have it out once again in the 111th version of the “Big Game,” on the campus of the University of California. Last season, the Cardinal reclaimed the Axe after not having it since 2001, as the Cardinal defeated the Golden Bears 20-13 at Stanford Stadium. This is the 10th longest rivalry in college football, which started in 1892. |
