When you shoot just 37.1 percent form the field, and shoot just three free throws for an entire game on most occasions you will not win the game.
That is what the Stanford Cardinal shot from the floor, and that is how many times they went to the free throw line and the Siena Saints ended the Cardinal five-game winning streak with a 79-67 victory.
Kenny Brown was the leading scorer for the Cardinal, as he scored just 12 points.
Only one other Cardin al player even topped the double figure, as Lawrence Hill scored 11 points just two days after leaving the Northwestern game with an ankle injury.
Josh Duell led the Saints with 16 points, while Alex Franklin added 14 and Kenny Hasbourck chipped in with 12, as the Saints improve to 2-2 on the young season.
The Cardinal also went 12-for-31 from beyond the three-point line.
