Photo Horned Frogs blow pass Cardinal

With the game moved up six hours due to Hurricane Ike, the Stanford Cardinal and the TCU Horned Frogs took to the field at Amon Carter Stadium.

Ryan Christian scored what proved to be the game-winning touchdown, as the Horned Frogs defeated the Cardinal 31-14.

On the day, Christian carried the 19 times for 82 yards, as his one-yard score with six minutes remaining in the third quarter put the Horned Frogs in the lead for good.

It looked the Cardinal tied up the game in the fourth quarter on a 49-yard punt return for a touchdown by Doug Baldwin.

Unfortunately, after review of the punt return, Baldwin stepped out at the 13-yard line.

Just three plays following the return, Tavita Pritchard threw a pass into the end zone that was intercepted by Steven Coleman.

Richard Sherman tied up the game in the second quarter, as Mark Mueller blocked a Anson Kelton punt and Sherman scooped it up raced 21 yards to the end zone for the game-tying touchdown.

Pritchard went 11-for-21 for 122 yards, while Toby Gerhart ran for 45 yards, and also caught three passes for 42 yards.
