In a shocking move, Trent Johnson is no longer the head coach of the Men’s Basketball team for the Stanford Cardinal.

Johnson just finished his fourth season as the head coach of the Cardinal was named the new head coach for the LSU Tigers of the Southeastern Conference.

In his four seasons on “The Farm,” Johnson went 80-48, including a 28-8 record this season, as the Cardinal advanced all the way to the Sweet 16, where they would lose to the Texas Longhorns at Reliant Stadium in Houston.

Johnson led the Cardinal to the NCAA Tournament in 2005, 2007 and 2008.

During the 2005-2006 season, the Cardinal advanced to the second round of the NIT, where they would lose to the Missouri State Bears.
