Lawrence Hill is vastly becoming the next top of the line player for the Stanford Cardinal.

Hill, a native of the Phoenix suburb of Glendale scored 18 points, as the Cardinal defeated the Arizona State Sun Devils 63-53 at Maples Pavilion.

Fred Washington also scored 18, as the Cardinal got back on the winning track after being swept in Los Angeles by the UCLA Bruins and the USC Trojans within the past seven days.

Mitch Johnson was the only other Cardinal player to score in double figures, as he added 11.

It was an off night for the Lopez twins, as Brook scored just four points and Robin added five points.

The four points scored by Brook broke a streak of four consecutive games that he topped the 20-point plateau.

Jeff Pendergraph led the Sun Devils with 15 points, while Christian Polk added 10 points.

With the loss, the Sun Devils fall to 0-10 on the road this season, and drop their conference record to 1-16.
