Despite not having the services of Anthony Goods on the floor, that did not trouble the Stanford Cardinal against the Oregon State Beavers.
Lawrence Hill scored 23 points and Brook Lopez tied his season high with 20, as the Cardinal defeated the Beavers 70-55 at Maples Pavilion.
Unfortunately, the Cardinal did have one major flaw, as they committed a season-high 22 turnovers.
On the flip side, the Cardinal outrebounded the Beavers 42-29 and led the game the entire way.
This was the 14th consecutive win at Maples for the Cardinal over the Beavers, who have not won at Maples since the 1992-1993 season.
Goods suffered the ankle sprain during Sunday’s loss to the Washington Huskies at Bank of America Arena in Seattle.
The Cardinal may have to be without their floor leader until the beginning of the Pac-10 tournament at Staples Center.
The tournament begins in three weeks on March 7.
