What a night for sophomore Lawrence Hill against a tough Oregon State Beavers team at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis, Oregon.
Hill scored a career high 24 points; including five three pointers as the Stanford Cardinal defeated the Beavers 67-56.
It was a good that Hill came up huge beyond the arc, and in the scoring column; because their inside did not fare well at all.
As a matter of fact, the Beavers outscored the Cardinal 36-18 in the paint and freshman Robin Lopez scored just three points and grabbed only four rebounds.
Anthony Goods scored 12, and Lopez’s twin brother Brook added 12 points and grabbed nine rebounds, as the Cardinal have won four out of their last five.
