Washington hands Stanford a crushing loss on the road

Seattle, WA – The Stanford Cardinal got stomped Thursday night by the Washington Huskies 94-61. This was a PAC-10 loss for Stanford, who was coming off a two game winning streak going into this one.
Washington’s Quincy Poindexter put up 27 points and Washington carried leads as high as 41 points to carry them to victory.
Stanford’s (8-8, 2-2) Landry Fields lead the scoring effort with only 17, and his partner in scoring was almost nowhere to be found tonight. Jeremy Green, who scored a huge career high 30 points last week scored only 7 points Thursday.
Stanford is now 0-5 on the road, having a tough season away from home. Of note: Stanford gave up 20 turnovers, the most in any game since March 2007.
