The New York Giants are looking for its fifth straight victory. They are only one game behind the Dallas Cowboys and are coming off a 491yard game. However such a winning streak is not foreign to them as they had a 5-game winning streak last season and stumbled greatly after that.
More recently the Giants’ defense and run offense have been getting better.
Plaxico Burress has at least one touchdown reception in each game so far.
A weak point for NY however might be that quarterback Eli Manning’s touchdowns and interceptions aren’t at par with his passing yards.
The 49ers are coming off a bye week and Trent Dilfer will start at least one more week. However Alex Smith will be in uniform and Jonas Jennings and Vernon Davis may be in the lineup.
Frank Gore and the offense have to get rolling.
Predictions: Giants by 90% of Yahoo! Sports Pro Football Pick’em participants, by Sporting News fan blogs at a score of 29-20 and by 4 out of 4 Yahoo! Sports experts.
